KÖHL GmbH is strategically realigning itself and strengthening its management structure. After five successful years in the company's management, Ingolf Matthée is stepping down.
With Lars Harry Hartwig, KÖHL is gaining a proven industry expert. Since January 2026, the 53-year-old has been responsible for marketing and sales as managing director. He has many years of experience in leading sales positions, including as Regional Sales Manager South at Sedus Stoll AG and as National Sales Manager at Dauphin Human Design Group GmbH & Co. KG. In his new role, Hartwig will provide key impetus for the market orientation.
"Köhl stands for quality, ergonomics, and a close partnership with specialist retailers. I want to work with the team to further build on these strengths. My focus is on clear positioning and expanding the product portfolio, as well as on sustainable solutions such as remanufacturing and refurbishment concepts," explains Hartwig.
