KÖHL pursues continuous Research and Development

Ever since the company was founded we have emphasized sustainable actions. In our organisation we set an example every day:

• All employees take their share with their behaviour
• Waste separation at work is standard practice.
• We utilise reusable packaging for the transportation of components.
• To shorten transfer distances we focus on local networks when selecting new suppliers.
• Our car pool uses low-emission vehicles.
• We pay attention to the long-life cycle of products and the use of recycling materials e.g. the recyclability of materials used already in the design stage.

We emphasize our ambition of associating quality-relevant and environmental aspects by having been certified for our quality and environmental management according to the globally valid standards DIN EN 9001 and DIN EN 14001 since 2005.

One target is the establishment of a "Zero-Energy" production being solely operated by renewable energy sources like geothermal energy and photovoltaics.
